Ukraine and the Netherlands signed an agreement on joint production of drones: what does it entail?

Dutch Prime Minister Rob Yetten and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of defense technologies at the NATO summit.
Rob Yetten reported this on the social network X.
According to him, the document lays the foundation for broad and long-term cooperation between the countries in the field of joint production of drones, as well as the development of partnerships in the defense industry.
In particular, the Prime Minister emphasized that the initiative involves the exchange of experience, the development of innovations, and joint expansion of production.
“Our support for Ukraine is delivering results and remains vital. We must not give up and must continue to increase pressure on Russia. This is crucial for Ukraine and for the security of Europe,” he added.
It was previously reported that the Netherlands can no longer provide direct military assistance to Ukraine, as it has already exhausted its capabilities . At the same time, the country will continue to support Kyiv in other ways and will call on allies to increase assistance.
The Netherlands also announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 500 million euros . The funds will be used to purchase drones, air defense systems, and other weapons.
In addition, the Ukrainian Navy received another mine countermeasures ship from the Kingdom of the Netherlands within the framework of the Maritime Capabilities Coalition . The transferred minesweeper “Genichesk” became the fifth mine countermeasures ship in the Ukrainian fleet.
