Ukraine and the US are preparing new talks with the participation of the military

Ukraine and the United States plan to hold a new round of talks to prepare for a potential peace agreement. The consultations will involve working groups and military experts who will analyze maps.

According to the publication, the talks could take place this weekend in Miami, USA. It is expected that working groups from both countries, including military representatives, will participate in the meetings.

The Axios source clarified that the military will “study the maps” during the talks. This indicates that the discussions have moved into a practical plane and are working out the specific parameters of possible agreements.

The publication notes that the consultations in Miami will be part of a broader negotiation process between Kyiv and Washington on ways to end the war and form a future peace agreement.

There are currently no official comments from the Ukrainian or American sides regarding the details of the meeting.

Earlier, it was reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced the increasing chances of a temporary ceasefire and progress in developing security guarantees for Ukraine.

As a reminder, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that he does not rule out the possibility of a temporary ceasefire at Christmas in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
