Ukraine and the US held the second round of talks in Florida: Witkoff revealed the details

Ukraine and the United States held a second round of talks in Florida, during which they discussed the parameters of a future peace agreement. The parties focused on security guarantees and humanitarian issues.

This was announced by US special envoy Steve Witkoff.

The negotiations were a continuation of previous agreements and were aimed at developing a comprehensive peace agreement between the parties.

According to US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, the discussions focused on shaping Ukraine’s security architecture, as well as coordinating humanitarian efforts.

“We continue to encourage continued, substantive cooperation and thank the US President for his unwavering leadership in advancing this effort,” said Steve Witkoff.

Representatives of both countries participated in the negotiations.

From Ukraine:

  • Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov;
  • Head of the OP Kirill Budanov;
  • David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction;
  • First Deputy Head of the OP Serhiy Kyslytsia.

From the USA:

  • special envoy Steve Witkoff;
  • Jared Kushner;
  • White House senior adviser Josh Gruenbaum.

Witkoff emphasized that the negotiations are constructive and the parties continue to interact.

By the way, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov reported on the completion of the next stage of negotiations between Ukraine and the United States in Florida . The parties have made progress in agreeing positions and narrowed the range of unresolved issues.

It was previously reported that on March 21 , a Ukrainian delegation arrived in Miami for talks with US special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The Russians will not be at the meeting.
