Ukraine began a meeting with the American side on security guarantees.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the start of a meeting with American representatives dedicated to security issues and coordinating joint steps.

He wrote about this in Telegram .

According to him, preparations for the negotiations were meticulous: the Ukrainian team is meticulously reviewing every point of the draft agreements. The main goal is to ensure that all decisions agreed upon with partners are truly operational and provide reliable security guarantees.

“Only reliable guarantees will ensure peace. We hope our partners will continue to work constructively,” Zelensky emphasized.

As a reminder, the administration of US President Donald Trump is prepared to provide Ukraine with security guarantees based on the principles of NATO’s Article 5, which will be legally binding.
