Ukraine changes business rules during airstrike

In Ukraine, businesses can continue to operate during a drone threat that corresponds to the yellow air alert level. To do this, the enterprise must provide the necessary safety conditions for employees and visitors.

The new rules were defined by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1092 , which was later amended by Resolution No. 1128.

The yellow level is declared in the event of a drone threat . Under such a signal, business entities, regardless of ownership, can continue to operate if there is a shelter, dual-purpose structure, or a safe space in the premises or on the territory.

If there is no shelter yet, the enterprise can also temporarily operate at the yellow level. This requires the consent of the workforce. This regime will be in effect only until the shelter is arranged, but not longer than three months from the entry into force of Resolution No. 1092.

At the same time, the red level is set in the event of a missile, missile-drone, or massive drone threat .

Resolution No. 1128 also detailed notification rules and requirements for safe spaces. Business entities must independently ensure that employees and visitors are informed about the threat.

The yellow level can be set taking into account the situation in individual areas, so enterprises of the same network in different locations can simultaneously operate under different modes.

Recall that earlier in Kyiv, yellow and red air alert levels were officially introduced . The yellow signal corresponds to a drone threat, and the red signal corresponds to an increased risk of a missile or combined strike.
