Ukraine did not receive signals from the US: Zelensky made a statement about a new trilateral meeting

Due to the aggravation of the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine did not receive the necessary signals from the United States regarding a new round of trilateral negotiations.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He assured that when the security situation and the general political context allow, diplomatic work will continue. Zelensky stressed that Ukraine is ready for this.

“We continue to communicate with America virtually on a daily basis. Right now, due to the situation around Iran, there are still no necessary signals for a trilateral meeting,” the president explained.

He previously said that the next trilateral meeting could take place in Europe in the coming days. Possible locations include Switzerland, Austria, the Vatican, and Turkey is also being considered as a potential venue for talks.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian delegation was preparing for a new round of negotiations with representatives of Russia and the United States . The meetings were planned to be held on March 5-9, 2026.
