The Cabinet of Ministers expanded support for internally displaced persons and continued housing payments for vulnerable categories.

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.

The government has decided to extend the payment period for the most vulnerable displaced persons for another six months.

Separately, support for IDP children has been strengthened. Payments for them will be assigned regardless of family income if the application is submitted by May 1, 2026. In this case, assistance will be accrued from February 1, 2026.

The government has also updated the rules for reviewing payments for disabled immigrants. This concerns those who previously had their benefits terminated due to exceeding the income limit.

After the subsistence minimum is increased, these people can again apply for benefits.

If the application is submitted by May 1, 2026, the benefit will be accrued from January 1, 2026. In the event of a later application, payments will begin to accrue from the month of submission of documents.
