Ukraine handed over a secret list of military needs to Germany: what does it contain?

Ukraine has handed over to Germany a secret list containing specific needs for military assistance.

This was reported by the Bild newspaper.

As noted, the list distinguishes three categories: air defense, armored vehicles, and electronic warfare.

Military and industry sources confirmed the existence of a secret request from Kyiv, while the German government declined to officially comment.

“For military security reasons and given the federal government’s new direction in communications regarding support for Ukraine, we do not answer questions about individual support services,” they explained.

At the same time, according to analysts from German Aid to Ukraine , the Ukrainian government has requested:

• 4 IRIS-T SLM air defense systems;
• 1,500 IRIS-T SL missiles;
• 500 IRIS-T missiles;
• 200,000 40mm rounds to repel drone attacks;
• 1,000 vehicles with mine protection;
• 200 tracked vehicles;
• 30 demining machines;
• from 20 to 30 WiSENT unmanned aerial vehicles;
• 200 SUVs;
• 1,000 GPS jammers to protect against enemy drones;
• 200 ground surveillance radars.

Previously, the German government planned to significantly reduce the amount of information about arms supplies to Ukraine.

Let us remind you that Germany’s defense project for 2025 lacks almost a billion euros , which were allocated for assistance to Ukraine.

By the way, German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil announced that the federal government has approved the draft budget for 2025, which includes a record amount of military aid to Ukraine — 8.3 billion euros .
