Ukraine has agreed with the Netherlands on a joint project in the field of air defense

Ukraine and the Netherlands have begun work on a joint air defense project called Bliksem. Specialists from both countries have already received a task and must determine how to implement it.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on October 28 after a meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Ettjen in The Hague.

According to Zelensky, Ukrainian and Dutch teams are already working on the project. However, the president has not yet revealed details of the upcoming development.

In particular, it is currently unknown what characteristics the Bliksem air defense system will have, how much money is planned to be spent on the project, and when it can be completed. Zelensky also did not specify which Ukrainian enterprises will be involved in the work.

During his visit to the Netherlands, the president also met with business representatives from both countries. They discussed further cooperation and the possibility of launching joint production.

Zelenskyy emphasized that agreements between countries should bring concrete results, including new investments, enterprises, and jobs.

Recall that earlier the Netherlands announced a 1.2 billion euro aid package for Ukraine , aimed at restoring infrastructure and supporting the economy.
