Ukraine Doubles Interceptor Drone Supply, Fedorov Says

Since the beginning of 2026, Ukraine has doubled the supply of interceptor drones compared to the entire year of 2025.

This was reported by Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, these drones are actively used to strengthen “small” air defense.

Supplies are provided through several channels, including direct contracts from the Defense Procurement Agency, the “DroneArmy.Bonus” program, and the DOT-Chain Defense marketplace.

Fedorov noted that interceptor drones have already proven their effectiveness in combat conditions and help reduce the load on air defense missiles.

According to him, in March, such drones destroyed more than 33 thousand enemy drones of various types.

The Air Force also created a separate “small” air defense command to develop this area.

Recall that Latvia is ready to transfer a short-range air defense system to Ukraine.
