Ukraine has filed a request for the extradition of those involved in the “Midas” case: details
The Prosecutor General’s Office has sent a request to Israel for the extradition of the Midas case defendants Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zukerman.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the UCP, Maryana Hajovska-Kovbasyuk, in a comment to “Ukrainian Pravda”.
According to her, before submitting the request, the documents had to be finalized. After the request from NABU, procedural and technical shortcomings were discovered in the materials.
As a result, the Prosecutor General’s Office, together with NABU, finalized the case, completed 24 volumes of materials, and also prepared and translated the text of the request.
“After the final elimination of shortcomings and errors, the extradition request was sent to the Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel,” Hajovska-Kovbasiuk noted.
It was previously reported that Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko has not signed documents for the extradition of Timur Mindich from Israel for two weeks.
