Ukraine has found an effective response to massive attacks by Russian UAVs – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has found a solution that will allow it to shoot down up to a thousand Russian UAVs.
He stated this at a press conference in Rome.
“Putin wants to destabilize our population with these strikes. The second story: they have a plan for a thousand drones, 700-1,000 drones per day. Now, if our partners hear everything I discussed with them in full, we will shoot everything down,” the president said.
Zelensky assured that Ukraine has already found a solution – these are interceptor drones that shoot down most Russian drones.
He added that the Ukrainian industrial complex will be able to mass-produce such drones if the financing of these processes is accelerated.
“It is important that the key has been found, we will find it by Ukrainians and Americans… The management is American, and the engineers are Ukrainian,” Zelensky added, emphasizing that funding is needed for this.
Earlier, Maria Berlinska stated that in 2026, thousands of Russian killer drones could fly over peaceful Ukrainian cities .
Earlier, the Air Force reported that the Russian military is actively modernizing drones and missiles for combined strikes on the territory of Ukraine , using simulators in particular, and is also strengthening countermeasures against electronic warfare.
