President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has gone through the most difficult winter in all the years of full-scale war. At the same time, according to intelligence, Russia is preparing new attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.
He spoke about this in an evening video address.
Zelensky stressed that this winter Russia tried to destroy Ukraine and its energy system.
“Today is the day when each of us can quite rightly say: we have gone through this winter, the most difficult in all the years of the war. The Russians wanted to turn this winter into the destruction of Ukraine and Ukrainians. But Ukraine did not break. We preserved our energy system,” the president said.
At the same time, the head of state emphasized that the threat of new attacks remains .
“We know that the Russians are not going to stop with the strikes. This is a fact. They are preparing new attacks on infrastructure. Intelligence provides relevant information,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President emphasized that all services and units responsible for protecting the country must remain as focused as possible.
“We must respond to every threat and shoot down Russian targets as much as possible,” Zelensky said.
Recall that on February 27, consumers in six regions of Ukraine were left without electricity due to Russian shelling of energy infrastructure .
The day before, intelligence received information about the Russian army preparing a new massive strike on Ukraine .
