Ukraine has imposed sanctions against 13 vessels and 28 Russian companies for illegally exporting Ukrainian grain

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on putting into effect the NSDC decision on sanctions against those involved in the illegal export of Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied territories. The restrictions were imposed against 13 sea vessels, 11 Russian citizens, and 28 legal entities.
This is stated in Decree No. 725/2026 .
The sanctions package includes 13 vessels flying the flags of Russia, Panama, Belize, and St. Kitts and Nevis. Also targeted are 11 Russian citizens, including the captains of these vessels, and 28 legal entities that own the vessels or are involved in logistical schemes.
Ukraine will provide the necessary information to international partners to synchronize sanctions.
“The illegal export of Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied territories should have consequences for everyone involved: from companies and owners to captains and vessels. We expect that our international partners will not allow it to enter their markets,” said Vladyslav Vlasyuk, the presidential commissioner for sanctions policy.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree putting into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on amendments to sectoral sanctions imposed on Russian financial institutions .
Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against 10 Russian mobile operators and Internet providers . The restrictions include companies that provide communications for the occupation authorities and operate in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
