Ukraine has imposed sanctions against the Russian military-industrial complex and industry
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on the implementation of the NSDC decision to impose sanctions against 95 individuals and 70 legal entities. Most of them are citizens and residents of the Russian Federation.
This is evidenced by data from the website of the President’s Office.
“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree putting into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against 95 individuals and 70 legal entities, most of whom are citizens and residents of the Russian Federation,” the report says.
The sanctions targeted individuals and companies related to the implementation of the Russian Federation’s state defense order and the activities of its defense-industrial complex.
Among them are enterprises and managers that produce and supply communications equipment, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and microelectronics for the Russian military-industrial complex and law enforcement agencies.
The restrictions also apply to enterprises in the chemical, mining, metallurgical industries, and the fuel and energy complex of Russia.
“The introduced restrictions should complicate the servicing of the Russian military-industrial complex and limit its capabilities in the production of weapons and military equipment used in the war against Ukraine,” the Office of the President noted.
It is also noted that Ukraine will continue to work with partners on the synchronization of Ukrainian sanctions in the jurisdictions of partner countries. Some of the positions will be taken into account in the 20th package of sanctions of the European Union, the preparation of which is underway.
We will remind you that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the preparation of new sanctions against persons who help Russia in the war.
