Ukraine Increases Weapons Production 35 Times

After the first signs of declining support from the US, Ukraine relied on its own strength

After a break in Western support in the fall and winter of 2023-2024, Ukraine made a strategic turn towards self-sufficiency.

“We realized that we had to start moving toward self-sufficiency,” Sak said. “Our ministry was tasked with reviving the defense industry.”

The result was not long in coming: despite the war, air attacks and thousands of kamikaze drones, over the past three years Ukraine has been able to increase its own weapons production by 35 times.

Let us recall that the United States of America temporarily stopped deliveries of some anti-aircraft missiles and high-precision munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about the level of its own defense reserves.

As reported, after reports of the suspension of deliveries of part of the military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon assures: Washington continues to work on solutions. In addition, the US State Department assured that they did not stop all deliveries of weapons to Ukraine, and the decision made by the Pentagon the day before is just one situation.
