The government, at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, has supported a new procedure for licensing defense technologies developed by the Defense Forces. The new mechanism provides for the payment of at least 25% of licensing fees to the military who are the authors of such developments.
This was announced by Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov.
The Ministry of Defense initiated the creation of a mechanism that would allow the state to transfer military developments into mass production through a transparent licensing system on a paid basis.
According to the new procedure, at least 25% of the funds received from the licensing of defense technologies will be paid to the military, which is the author of these developments.
The new mechanism should form a fair remuneration system for the military, as well as introduce competitive rules for working with state-owned developments. The remaining funds from licensing will be directed to the development of defense innovations, in particular:
- strengthening of departments in which new solutions are created;
- development of new technologies;
- protection of intellectual property rights.
“Ukraine creates unique technologies directly during the war. Our task is to quickly scale the best solutions for the front and fairly reward their authors,” said Fedorov.
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian Armored Vehicles company has begun developing new models of FPV drones with integrated mortar mines and new warheads.
Recall that Fire Point presented the FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles at the Eurosatory 2026 international arms exhibition in Paris. The Ukrainian guided aerial bomb “Equalizer” was also demonstrated for the first time at the event.
