Cold weather is approaching Ukraine again: starting January 30, a powerful anticyclone will begin to displace Atlantic moisture and warmer air.
This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
Today is the last warm day in Ukraine “in the near future”. Snow or rain will fall in all regions. Thermometers will show 0°C or slight “pluses” — in the South it will be +4°C…+7°C, and in Crimea — up to +14°C.
However, tomorrow the temperature will drop in the northern regions, and on January 31 and February 1, cold weather will cover all of Ukraine.
According to preliminary estimates, the coldest days will fall on February 1-3. The temperature at night will range from -15°C to -24°C, and in the North the frosts may be even stronger.
It was previously reported that in February, strong Arctic air will bring a new wave of cold to the territory of Ukraine – first, frosts will hit the North and West, and then gradually spread to other regions.
