On October 7 and 8, warm and mostly dry weather will persist in Ukraine, but starting on October 9, a cold atmospheric front will begin to cover the country. It will bring rain, stronger winds, and a drop in temperature.
This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko. Her forecast is also confirmed by data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to the forecast, on October 7, the daytime air temperature will be around +20…+25 degrees. On October 8, it will still be warm: in the west, the air may warm up to +25…+27 degrees, in most other regions — to +19…+24.
“From the nearest synoptic perspective: October 7 and 8 will be the warmest,” Didenko noted.
At the same time, the weather will start to change on October 9. A cold atmospheric front will bring rain primarily to the western, northern, and partly central regions. According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, wind gusts of up to 15–20 m/s are possible in some places.
Over the weekend, precipitation will be replaced by dry weather, but the temperature will be significantly lower. During the day, temperatures are expected to be around +12…+16 degrees, and in the south and southeast — +18…+24.
According to Didenko, next week will bring rain and a significant cold snap to Ukraine.
