Ukraine is introducing blackout schedules: at what times will electricity be restricted?

On Sunday, October 25, some regions of Ukraine will introduce hourly power outage schedules and capacity restrictions for industry. The restrictions are related to the consequences of massive Russian attacks on energy facilities.

This was reported by Ukrenergo .

For industrial consumers, power limitation schedules will be in effect from 06:00 to 23:59.

For all categories of consumers, hourly outage schedules of 1 to 2 shifts will be applied from 07:00 to 23:59.

Ukrenergo noted that the situation in the power system may change due to Russian shelling. Consumers are advised to follow the messages and outage schedules on the official pages of local distribution system operators.

At the same time, Ukrainians were urged to use electricity sparingly during periods when it is supplied according to schedule.
