President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is preparing to open four more clusters in negotiations on joining the European Union. He also identified three key priorities in cooperation with the EU.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Facebook .

According to Zelensky, this year Ukraine has already opened two negotiation clusters, and now expects to start work on four more. The President stressed that the Ukrainian side has fulfilled all the necessary conditions for a positive decision.

He discussed these issues with Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Vsevolod Chentsov, as well as Deputy Heads of the Presidential Office Serhiy Kyslytsia and Ihor Zhovkva.

Zelenskyy called Ukraine’s full membership in the European Union his first priority. According to him, this issue concerns not only politics or economics, but also the security of both Ukraine and the whole of Europe.

The second direction, the president identified, is the maximum use of sectoral integration opportunities. He emphasized that Ukraine must now become an integral part of European processes.

Zelenskyy named strengthening cooperation with Brussels, European institutions, and EU countries as the third priority to provide Ukraine with the necessary support ahead of winter. According to him, such interaction should be practical and aimed at strengthening the state’s resilience and protecting Ukrainians.

By the way, at the Intergovernmental Conference Ukraine – European Union officially opened Cluster 6 of negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU under the title “Foreign Relations”.
