Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced his readiness to hold trilateral talks with the participation of the United States and Russia on the territory of Azerbaijan .

He announced this during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev .

According to Zelensky, such a format is possible if Russia is ready for diplomatic dialogue.

“We are ready for trilateral negotiations. We have already had this experience in Turkey and Switzerland. We are ready to conduct them in Azerbaijan as well,” the head of state noted.

The President also noted the importance of the role of international partners in the mediation process.

In addition, during the visit to Azerbaijan, the parties signed six bilateral documents aimed at strengthening security and developing trade and economic cooperation, in particular, increasing trade turnover between the countries.

Zelenskyy also met with Ukrainian military personnel who shared their experience in airspace protection.

As reported by Pryamoy, Ukraine yesterday announced its readiness to hold a meeting at the highest level with Russia, with the participation of its international partners. This involves negotiations involving the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and, possibly, the United States.

As a reminder, the Kremlin declared a “positive” trend for Russian troops at the front and linked it to the subsequent progress of negotiations on the war.

As reported, the head of the presidential office, Kirill Budanov, stated that negotiations between Ukraine and Russia are gradually progressing and could lead to an agreement.

In addition, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine had agreed with the United States to hold a trilateral meeting to end the war, but the format of the negotiations had not yet been determined.
