Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of strikes on the military and energy infrastructure of the Russian Federation on the night of November 14. The Ukrainian military struck the Novorossiysk naval base in the Krasnodar Territory, an oil refinery in the Saratov Region, and a fuel and lubricants storage facility near Engels.
This was reported by the press service of the Defense Forces.
During the attack, Ukrainian units used Neptune missiles and strike UAVs of various types. In the area of the Sheskharis port, damage to infrastructure facilities was recorded, in particular, an oil terminal and elements of the S-400 air defense system – a launcher and missile storage, after which a detonation and fire occurred. The terminal is provided by Russian military groups conducting hostilities against Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces also struck the Saratov Oil Refinery, which is involved in supplying the Russian army. Explosions and subsequent burning were recorded on the territory of the plant. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
In addition, in the Engels area, the Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the “Krystal Plant” enterprise, where fuels and lubricants were stored. Explosions and a fire were also recorded at the site.
The Defense Forces emphasize that they continue to do everything to destroy the military-economic potential of the Russian Federation and its ability to conduct offensive operations.
It was previously reported that on the night of October 22, the Defense Forces attacked a number of strategic facilities in Russian regions, in particular, they managed to hit the Saransk Mechanical Plant and the Makhachkala Oil Refinery.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense showed a new, modernized version of the Ukrainian Neptune cruise missile.
