Ukraine is preparing to launch the export of its own weapons. These include drones, missiles, shells, and other types of weapons that have already been tested in modern warfare.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, all the main details have already been agreed upon at the level of state institutions, and the export of Ukrainian weapons will become a reality.

Zelensky noted that Ukrainian security expertise and weapons are currently of significant interest to international partners seeking to strengthen their own defenses.

For this purpose, Ukraine has proposed a special format of cooperation called Drone Deals.

These are interstate agreements on the production and supply of Ukrainian drones, missiles, shells, military equipment, software, as well as integration with partners’ defense systems.

The President emphasized that Ukrainian companies will have the opportunity to enter the markets of partner countries, but under the main condition – the Ukrainian military must be the first to receive the necessary amount of weapons.

According to Zelensky, for some types of weapons, the surplus of production capacities in Ukraine already reaches 50%.

He explained that this was the result of government investment in the defense industry and cooperation with international partners.

Separately, the president instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, intelligence, and the Security Service of Ukraine to determine a list of countries to which the export of Ukrainian weapons will be impossible due to their cooperation with Russia.

The NSDC will coordinate the entire export process and monitor that the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are met first and foremost.

According to the president, only the surplus will be sent for export – what manufacturers can produce in excess of the state order.
