Ukraine presented the “Areion” drone missile: what is known about it

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine presented a new drone missile “Areion”, developed on the basis of the “Palyanytsya” project.

This is reported by Ukrainian media.

The novelty was shown as part of the updated exposition of defense solutions. The drone missile can be launched from the container of the “Neptune” complex, as well as from a trailer or semi-trailer – by analogy with the “Palyanytsia”.

According to the declared characteristics, the warhead is up to 120 kg, and the flight range is up to 600 km.

The developer may be Luch Design Bureau, but there is currently no official confirmation of this information.

It was previously reported that for the first time since the start of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian military captured an enemy position without the participation of infantry – only with the help of robotic complexes and drones.
