Ukraine is discussing the possibility of introducing new restrictions for citizens who evade mobilization. This includes not only fines, but also restrictions on certain rights and access to some government services.

This is stated in the material of “Telegraph”.

One of the mechanisms already provided for by law is the temporary restriction of the right to drive vehicles. For this, territorial procurement centers can apply to the court.

However, in practice, this tool is rarely used. According to Opendatabot, since the beginning of the full-scale war, 135 such cases have been registered in the courts. In only ten cases have the courts upheld the demands of the CCC.

Most proceedings never reach the merits. According to the platform, courts suspend or return lawsuits due to procedural errors or non-payment of court fees.

Among the possible new restrictions being discussed are also restrictions on access to certain notary services and some government services.

At the same time, no official decisions have been made regarding the introduction of new restrictions. So far, there are only proposals and discussions on possible mechanisms for influencing violators of mobilization legislation.
