Ukraine has received over $125 million in concessional aid from the World Bank. The funds will go to support education and healthcare.

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

Of this amount, $105.7 million was received as part of the LEARN project , which is aimed at safe learning in schools and the implementation of the New Ukrainian School reform. Part of the funds will be used for shelter, teacher training, and providing schoolchildren with textbooks.

Ukraine received another $19.5 million under the THRIVE project . This money will go to reform the healthcare system, in particular to improve the financing of medical services and the work of the Medical Guarantees Program.

The Ministry of Finance noted that World Bank support helps keep schools and hospitals operating in wartime and reduces the financial burden on citizens.

It was previously reported that Japan will provide Ukraine with almost $6 billion in financial assistance in 2026.

Recall that the leaders of the European Union reached an agreement on large-scale financial support for Ukraine in 2026-2027. This is a package of 90 billion euros, the decision on which was approved unanimously.
