Ukraine received a full batch of Raven air defense systems from the UK

The United Kingdom has delivered to Ukraine all the Raven anti-aircraft missile systems it had previously promised. This is 13 units of equipment intended to strengthen air defense.

This is reported by Defense Express, citing the response of the UK Ministry of Defense to a request from Conservative Party MP Ben Obese-Jecty.

As noted by the Minister of Veterans Affairs, Al Carnes, the transferred complexes allow Ukrainian units to quickly respond to Russian air threats. The British side did not disclose other details regarding the characteristics or conditions of use of the Raven air defense system.

The Raven anti-aircraft missile system combines an AIM-132 ASRAAM missile launcher and a Supacat truck. The transfer of these systems to Ukraine was first announced in 2023, and the Ukrainian Air Force subsequently demonstrated their operation.

In May 2025, it was reported that the Defence Forces had already received eight of these systems, and announced the delivery of five more. Thus, the transfer of the entire batch of 13 SAM systems was completed. According to experts, it took the British side about seven months to transfer the last five systems.

Defense Express also does not rule out that the United Kingdom may order an additional batch of Raven air defense systems for Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil depot in the Belgorod region of Russia, as well as a logistics depot of the occupation forces in the Donetsk region.

As a reminder, officials from some European countries hope to deploy up to 30,000 peacekeepers in Ukraine as part of the deployment of a foreign contingent after the ceasefire.
