Ukraine has received the second tranche of financing from the International Monetary Fund in the amount of about $690 million under a new four-year program.

This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky.

According to him, the funds have already been received into the state budget.

The government will use the received funding to support the macro-financial stability of the state, in particular to finance priority expenditures.

As a reminder, newly elected Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky held his first international conversation after his appointment. The main topics of discussion were the next review of the IMF program for Ukraine and further financial support for the country.
