Ukraine returns large family from occupied Crimea

A large family, which was temporarily occupied in Crimea for a long time, has returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. The family includes a mother and five children.
This was announced by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.
The return was made possible thanks to the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA.
“While under occupation, the woman was subjected to pressure and threats from Russian security forces. In particular, she and her children were threatened with criminal prosecution due to the presence of subscriptions to Ukrainian news resources on their phone. Realizing the danger, the family set off on a long and difficult journey through several countries to return home,” Yermak said.
The family is currently in Kyiv, where they are provided with the necessary support: psychological assistance, as well as assistance with the children’s education at school and kindergarten.
We remind you that a 19-year-old girl who spent almost 11 years under occupation was returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territory .
As reported, a group of children from the temporarily occupied territories and Russia were returned to Ukraine.
