Ukraine has returned seven more children and adolescents from the temporarily occupied territories. They are now safe .
This was reported by the initiative of the President of Ukraine Bring Kids Back UA.
The return of the children took place with the assistance of the Save Ukraine team . The report notes that all the rescued children experienced pressure, humiliation , and attempts to impose a Russian identity on them .
Among those rescued is 19- year-old Viktor, who had lived in the frontline zone for several years under constant shelling and without communication. The final impetus for the evacuation was shelling, during which a shell fell in a neighboring yard and shattered the windows in his room .
Now the young man is safe and plans to continue his studies at a Ukrainian educational institution .
Another survivor , 18- year-old Dmitry, was tried to be drafted into the Russian army by the Russian authorities , despite serious health problems . According to the boy, one of the soldiers bluntly told him: “ How long can you study? Go fight.”
Also among those rescued was six-year-old Nika. In kindergarten, she was forced to march under the supervision of armed guards. The girl’s mother sought to save her daughter from propaganda and send her to a Ukrainian school.
Two brothers, 18- year-old Marko and Mikhailo, risked forced mobilization into the Russian army every day . According to them , several of their peers were taken away simply from exams.
To avoid this, the boys went into hiding and studied online at a Ukrainian educational institution . Now they are already in Ukrainian- controlled territory and dream of working in the State Emergency Service .
Currently, all rescued children are in the Hope and Recovery centers , where they receive psychological assistance, support with documents , and housing for a gradual return to normal life.
