Ukraine sent over 200 experts to the Middle East to counter drones

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 201 Ukrainian experts are currently in the Middle East.
He said this while speaking in the British Parliament.
Zelensky noted that another 34 specialists from Ukraine specializing in countering Iranian drones will arrive in the region in the near future.
According to him, Ukrainian military personnel are already in several countries in the Middle East, in particular the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Experts are also heading to Qatar.
The president said that Ukraine had sent specialists to the Middle East in response to requests from partners. He added that this was part of a drone deal that was being offered to the United States.
Currently, Ukraine is ready to offer all partners similar agreements — from cooperation in the field of UAVs to future defense alliances.
“I don’t think anyone would want to leave Ukraine’s war-tested strength and capabilities outside its security. And if they did, it would be unwise,” the president emphasized.
As a reminder, Ukraine has sent three teams of experts to the Middle East . They will work in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
Ukraine previously sent an expert team and interceptor drones to help protect American military bases in Jordan.
By the way, recently a Ukrainian team led by Umerov traveled to the Persian Gulf region to help countries protect the lives of their populations and resolve the situation.
