Ukraine strikes at the enemy’s logistics: details of the Defense Forces’ night operation
On the night of December 8, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck several enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian units destroyed the occupiers’ ammunition, fuel, and drone depots and struck Russian air defense positions.
In the Chmyrivka area of Luhansk Oblast, our soldiers destroyed an ammunition depot, and near occupied Donetsk they hit a UAV depot. Also, in Simeykino, Luhansk Oblast, the Defense Forces blew up a fuel depot to weaken the enemy’s logistics.
In addition, Ukrainian units in the Donetsk region destroyed a mobile fire group and a Pantsir-S1 air defense system, which reduced the occupiers’ ability to defend the sky.
The General Staff also clarified the results of the strike on the Temryutsky seaport in the Krasnodar Territory, which occurred on December 5. Ukrainian drones destroyed 20 tanks – approximately 70% of the facility. More than 20 tanks continue to burn on the liquefied gas overpass, and the area of the fire has reached about 1,000 square meters.
The defense forces continue to destroy the Russian military infrastructure to reduce its offensive capabilities and bring the end of the aggression closer.
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian army liberated the village of Tykhey. It is located between Orestopol and Pokrovsky in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
