Ukraine strikes Russia with Ukrainian weapons and without US approval – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are striking targets on Russian territory with their own Ukrainian-made weapons.

He said this during a press conference.

“Ukraine uses its own weapons to strike Russia. We have not discussed such issues with the US lately… And today we do not even remember this,” the head of state said.

According to him, Kyiv has not coordinated with Washington the issue of attacks on Russian territory for a long time, since nothing depends on US permissions or prohibitions here.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine received at its disposal a new generation cruise missile called “Flamingo” . Its range is 3000 km, and the warhead weighs one ton – this is twice as powerful as the American Tomahawk.
