Ukraine successfully tests new jet drone interceptor

Another interceptor to combat Russian jet drones has been tested in Ukraine. During testing, it managed to shoot down a Shahed, but the interceptor itself will still be refined.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty.

According to Zelensky, developers need to improve the control of the interceptor. Work on it will continue, so it will take time to complete the development.

The President also discussed with the military the next operations and long-range strikes on Russia.

Together with Yevhen Khmara and Mykhailo Drapaty, Zelenskyy identified the following targets for Ukrainian strikes, as well as the forces and means necessary for this.

Separately, the president said that Ukraine’s attacks on the Russian oil industry are already yielding noticeable results. In his opinion, this also strengthens Ukraine’s position at the diplomatic level.

Zelensky added that Ukraine is ready for de-escalation steps. At the same time, partners must ensure that Russia complies with agreements to stop attacks on Ukrainian critical infrastructure.
