Ukraine has warned Israel about a possible deterioration in relations due to the approach to the Israeli port of a ship carrying Ukrainian grain exported from the occupied territories.

Axios writes about this.

According to a diplomatic source, Kyiv will demand that the Israeli side reject the ship and its cargo. In case of refusal, Ukraine is ready to apply international diplomatic and legal mechanisms.

The Foreign Ministry emphasizes that Israel has previously ignored similar demands, and one of these ships was able to unload.

The Ukrainian side states that it is closely monitoring the situation and will not allow such a scenario to repeat.

In Kyiv, the new incident is being called a “slap in the face,” given the support Ukraine has previously provided to Israel on the international stage.

Diplomats warn that unloading the ship will have consequences for bilateral relations.

As previously reported, the ABINSK vessel, which was transporting over 43,000 tons of wheat from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, was received at the port of the Israeli city of Haifa.

Recall that the Turkish company Erisler , which is a supplier to the UN World Food Program , can purchase Ukrainian grain exported from temporarily occupied Mariupol through the Russian company Nika .
