On Tuesday, October 28, temporary restrictions on electricity consumption are planned to be introduced in a number of Ukrainian regions.
Ukrenergo reported this on its Facebook page.
According to the announcement, hourly outage schedules will be in effect from 08:00 to 22:00, covering one to two shifts. Additional capacity restrictions will apply for industrial enterprises from 07:00 to 22:00.
As noted by the Ministry of Defense, such steps are forced and related to the Russian Federation’s massive missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities.
At the same time, it is emphasized that the time and scale of outages may vary depending on the situation in the power system.
Citizens are recommended to follow updates on the official resources of their regional energy companies to be aware of changes in schedules in advance.
