Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced large-scale relaxations for Ukrainian business: next week the government, law enforcement agencies, and the National Security and Defense Council are preparing a one-year moratorium on inspections of enterprises. An audit of criminal cases against businesses has also begun – they promise to close unfounded ones.

She wrote about this on Facebook .

According to Svyrydenko, the solution is being developed jointly with the security agencies under the coordination of the National Security and Defense Council. The idea has already been agreed upon with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“This is a clear instruction from the President to give more freedom to internal economic forces. We are talking about continued de-shadowing, equal conditions for all, and advantages for white business,” Svyrydenko emphasized.

The government has also begun an audit of criminal cases against businesses that may have been opened without grounds or used to exert pressure. It promises to close senseless proceedings that block the work of enterprises. New cases against businesses will be allowed to be opened only by the Prosecutor General or regional/district leaders.

The number of tax and customs inspections will also be limited . Control over the legality of investigative actions will be strengthened. Only high-risk businesses will face inspections, the rest will receive protection and stability.

“We are ready to initiate changes to the laws – for real protection of business, reform of supervision and fair disposal of confiscated assets of the Russian Federation,” the official concluded.

Recall that in May, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved two bills that reduce business regulation . More than 1,900 regulatory acts have already been canceled.
