On Sunday, October 11, some regions of Ukraine will introduce power curtailment schedules for industry and business, as well as hourly power outages for all categories of consumers. The restrictions will be in effect in the afternoon due to the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities.
This was reported by Ukrenergo .
For industry and business, power restriction schedules will be in effect from 3:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Hourly power outages will apply to all categories of consumers from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. The volume of restrictions will range from 0.5 to 1.5 queues.
Ukrenergo noted that the situation in the power system may change due to Russian shelling. Consumers are advised to follow the messages of distribution system operators in their regions.
Ukrainians were also urged to consume electricity economically during periods when power supply is restored on schedule.
It was previously reported that Kyiv and Odessa could face the most difficult electricity supply situation during the heating season due to possible Russian strikes on energy infrastructure . In the worst-case scenario, the capital would have only four hours of electricity a day, and in frosts down to −10 °C, outages could last up to eight hours a day.
