Ukraine signs deal with swift beat to mass-produce combat and interceptor drones.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that his visit to Denmark began with a key development for Ukraine’s defense sector — the signing of a Ukrainian-American agreement on drone production, with a particular focus on interceptors.
The agreement, concluded with the U.S. company Swift Beat, paves the way for the joint manufacture of hundreds of thousands of drones starting in 2025. Production is expected to scale up significantly in 2026.
“This includes interceptors to destroy enemy drones and missiles, quadcopters for reconnaissance and fire correction, and long-range strike drones. We will produce far more of all of this — to fulfill our defense objectives and protect Ukrainian lives,” Zelenskyy said.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that the agreement provides for:
-
- long-term partnership and priority supply of drones to Ukraine;
-
- large-scale production of interceptor drones, quadcopters and strike systems;
-
- development of new solutions to counter cruise and ballistic missiles.
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian group “Wild Hornets” has developed an interceptor drone capable of flying at an altitude of 11 kilometers.
By the way, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine showed what drones the Ukrainian military uses to attack military facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation that are located at great distances.
