Ukraine to Produce Around 200 Flamingo Missiles Per Month

Ukraine has begun serial production of the new Flamingo cruise missile, a completely domestic development.

According to Irina Terekh, CEO and CTO of Fire Point, it took less than nine months to create the rocket.

“Flamingo is a long-range cruise missile that can carry a 1,150 kg warhead and travel 3,000 km. It is entirely Ukrainian-made,” Terekh said.

She also clarified that the Flamingo is already being produced in series, and the monthly production volume could reach 200 units.

Missile technology expert Hoffmann assessed the potential of the new weapon: according to him, 3-5 thousand such missiles are capable of destroying more than 25% of Russia’s economic production.

Let us recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that successful tests of the Ukrainian Flamingo missile have already been completed, and its mass production should begin early next year.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine received a new generation cruise missile called “Flamingo” . Its range is 3000 km, and the warhead weighs one ton – this is twice as powerful as the American Tomahawk. The missile is an analogue of the FP-5 from the Milanion Group, which is already ready to produce dozens of such weapons monthly.
