Ukraine to produce weapons in Denmark

Ukraine and Denmark have signed an agreement allowing Ukrainian defense enterprises to open on Danish territory.

This was announced by the Minister for Strategic Industries German Smetanin.

The agreement was signed on July 4 in Copenhagen together with Danish Industry Minister Morten Bedskov. Smetanin noted that a year ago Denmark began financing the production of weapons by Ukrainian companies, and now has become the first country to which Ukraine exports its own defense technologies for production, scaling and supply to the Ukrainian army.

The minister called this a unique case of international cooperation of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex.

Let us recall that the United States of America temporarily stopped deliveries of some anti-aircraft missiles and high-precision munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about the level of its own defense reserves.

As reported, after the news about the suspension of deliveries of part of the military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon assures that Washington continues to work on solutions.

Let us recall that US President Donald Trump, together with the lifting of sanctions against Syria, also removed some Russian banks, institutions and individuals from the “black lists”.

Donald Trump’s reluctance to impose new sanctions against Russia will reportedly help it replenish its military budget.

By the way, commenting on the position of Donald Trump’s team, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the US does not plan to introduce new sanctions against Russia, as it seeks to leave room for possible peace negotiations.

It is worth noting that Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said that US President Donald Trump is convinced that it is time to pass a bill regarding new sanctions against Russia.
