Ukraine to receive over 150 ground drones from Estonian company: details

The Estonian company Milrem Robotics, which specializes in robotics and autonomous systems, will transfer more than 150 THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles to Ukraine.

This is stated on the company’s website.

Milrem Robotics will conduct comprehensive training for Ukrainian operators and support personnel for effective deployment and maintenance of the devices in the field.

“The THeMIS platform has already demonstrated its value in combat conditions, and we believe that this contribution will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities,” emphasized the CEO of Milrem Robotics.

Currently, Ukrainian soldiers are already using 15 THeMIS units, and the new vehicles will strengthen them on the battlefield.

As noted, the relevant project is funded and coordinated by the Netherlands.

THeMIS is an unmanned transport platform. It is used for infantry support, combat assistance, reconnaissance and logistics. Currently, drones are used in 19 countries around the world.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially codified and approved for use in the units of the Defense Forces the ground robotic complexes “Gimli” . These unmanned platforms are designed for evacuating the wounded, transporting ammunition, performing logistical tasks, and even conducting combat.

Previously , the Ministry of Defense codified and approved for use in units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine Spextr ground robotic complexes of various modifications.
