During the next meeting of Ukraine, the US, and Russia, the negotiating teams may raise the issue of the management of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.

According to the “UP”, experts from the energy industry may join the next round of negotiations. This probably indicates plans to discuss who will manage the ZNPP and how.

“If this really happens, and if an acceptable mechanism can be found in this matter, then, in fact, this will mean that the work of the negotiating groups will exhaust itself,” the authors of the material suggested.

As journalists note, this is a sensitive issue in negotiations with the Russian Federation. In turn, President Volodymyr Zelensky has also emphasized that discussions on control over the station are one of the most difficult parts of the process of resolving the war.

As a reminder, Zelensky reported on progress in the military direction during the trilateral negotiations in the Ukraine-US-Russia format on ending the war.
