Negotiations involving representatives from Ukraine, Europe, and the United States, which were taking place in Miami, concluded earlier than planned. The second day of meetings was canceled.
This was reported by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty correspondent Alex Raufoglou in Washington.
According to the journalist, his sources confirmed that the negotiations would not be extended the following day.
“The Miami talks concluded earlier than planned. There won’t be a day to go,” Raufoglu wrote.
Ukrainian President VolodymyrZelenskyy previously announced that the Ukrainian delegation would hold talks with the United States on October 9 and 10. At the same time, he called on Washington to increase economic pressure on Russia rather than discuss future cooperation.
US President Donald Trump also announced an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin to supply Russian diesel fuel to the American and global markets. He stated that Russia would immediately supply over 300,000 tons of the fuel, followed by several million more tons.
