Ukraine will be covered by thunderstorms and squalls: where to expect bad weather

The weather in Ukraine will worsen in the coming days. Thunderstorms will occur in some regions, hail and strong gusts of wind are possible in some places.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, citing the forecast of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
In the afternoon of August 17 and until the end of the day, thunderstorms are expected in most western and northern regions, as well as in Vinnytsia region. In some places, hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s are forecast.
On Tuesday, August 18, thunderstorms will pass in the western regions. In the afternoon, bad weather will also reach the northern regions, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions. In some areas, hail and squalls up to 20 m/s are possible.
The State Emergency Service warns that the bad weather may cause problems in the work of energy, utility, and construction enterprises, as well as make traffic difficult.
Ukrainians are urged to be careful and follow safety rules during thunderstorms.
