Currently, the severe frosts have receded and in some places even positive temperatures are felt. At the same time, the snow and wind are only getting stronger. However, a new cold snap is expected from February 9 to 11.
This is reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
According to her, tomorrow, February 6, given the “confrontation of eastern anticyclonicity and western cyclonic depression,” the western process is winning so far.
“Snow, sleet, with rain in the west and south is expected. In the east – no significant precipitation. The wind remains southeast, strong, gusty,” the post says.
At night, 3-8 degrees below zero are expected in the north and center, 8-12 degrees below zero in the east, and around zero in the west and south.
“Tomorrow afternoon -2…-7 degrees, in the west and south -1…+3 degrees, in Transcarpathia and Crimea +2…+8 degrees,” Didenko wrote.
In Kyiv on February 6, occasional snow and strong and gusty southeast wind are expected. Night and daytime temperatures will be 3-6 degrees below zero.
“It will be relatively warmer in Ukraine in the future, although with precipitation. A cold snap is expected from February 9 to 11, another anticyclone, let it rage! It should be easier from now on,” the weather forecaster noted.
