Ukraine will be covered with rain and thunderstorms: forecasters warn of a sharp change in weather

On Friday, October 24, relatively warm weather is expected in Ukraine, but rains, with thunderstorms in places, will occur in most regions.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will remain without precipitation. Rain is expected in the rest of the territory, in some places heavy – in particular in the west and in the Odessa region. Wind gusts will reach 7–12 m/s.
In the northeastern regions and Cherkasy region, the temperature at night will be up to +9°C, the coolest will be in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions – from +3 to +6°C.
In other regions, at night, +8…+10°C is expected, in the south — +9…+12°C. During the day, the temperature will fluctuate within +13…+15°C, in Sumy region — up to +10°C, and in the south — up to +18°C.
Forecaster Natalka Didenko noted that an atmospheric front from the northwest, associated with a cyclone near Denmark, will bring moderate rain and increased winds to storm values.
According to her, precipitation will first appear in the west, and during the day will spread to the south, center and north of the country.
The East, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions are forecast to remain without significant precipitation.
The daytime temperature across the country will be +12…+17°C, in the south in places up to +19°C. In the far west it will be cooler — +9…+12°C.
In the capital on October 24, mostly cloudy weather is expected, with rain likely towards the evening. The southeast wind will strengthen to 12–15 m/s, which may reach stormy levels. The air temperature at night will be about +10°C, during the day – up to +15°C.
