Ukraine will be covered with rain, but the heat will not recede: forecasters’ forecast

In early September, warm weather will persist in Ukraine, although precipitation will not be everywhere. In the next two days, short-term rains will occur in some regions, thunderstorms are possible in some places. At the same time, the temperature will rise to +31° in some places during the day.

This was reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

On Wednesday, September 2 , rain is expected in places in the Carpathian region, in most central regions, and at night also in the north of the country. The rest of the territory will be dry.

The wind will be predominantly westerly, 5–10 m/s. At night the temperature will be +9…+15°, and during the day the air will warm up to +22…+27°. In Transcarpathia and the southeast it will be hotter — up to +31°. In the Carpathians at night +5…+10°, during the day +17…+22°.

In Kyiv, short-term rain is possible at night, but no precipitation is forecast during the day. The temperature at night will be +13…+15°, during the day — +23…+25°.

On Thursday, September 3 , the rainy zone will expand. Precipitation is possible in the Carpathian region at night, and during the day short-term rains will pass in most regions, except for a significant part of the central and southern regions. Thunderstorms are expected in some places.

The temperature at night will be mostly +9…+15°, in the east — up to +18°. In the daytime, +20…+25° is expected, and in the south and southeast — up to +31°. In the Carpathians, the air will warm up only to +15…+20°.

There will be no precipitation in the capital at night on September 3, but short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. The temperature will be +13…+15° at night and +23…+25° during the day.
