Ukraine will be torn in half: insane heat in the east, autumn cold in the west
On Wednesday, July 10, Ukraine will be hit by a wave of contrasting weather – in some regions the heat will rage, while in others it will be autumnally cool.
Meteorologist Natalka Didenko warns about this.
According to its forecast, the hottest weather will be in the east, most of the southern and central regions. In these regions, the air temperature will rise to +33…+39°C, and in some places the thermometers may show as much as +40°C.
In northern Ukraine, the temperature picture will be quite varied. For example, in Zhytomyr region, the air will warm up only to +25…+27°C, while in Chernihiv region it will reach +32°C, in Kyiv region it will reach +33°C, and in Sumy region the thermometer will reach +35°C.
The central part of the country will also demonstrate a large temperature gap: from a moderate +25°C in Vinnytsia to real heat in Dnipro, where up to +37°C is expected.
As for the south, the heat will mostly remain, although in the Odessa region a short-term decrease in temperature to a more comfortable level — below +30°C is possible.
A completely different situation is predicted in the west of the country. There, according to the weather forecaster, it will become really cool – the daytime temperature will drop to +15…+19°C. In addition to the decrease in temperature, the western regions and Vinnytsia region will experience rain, thunderstorms and heavy downpours in places. In the evening, precipitation may reach Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.
At the same time, in the eastern, southern, and most central regions, there is no hint of rain: it will be sunny and dry there.
